Information gathered by the publication indicates that a well known businessman collapsed after he was swindled close to P1 million when trying to buy a piece of land in Mmamashia. Though is not yet clear how much the land was sold for, it is suspected that the unscrupulous dealer demanded around P3m which the buyer was willing to part with in order to purchase the piece of land. It is reported that the businessman later realised that he was cheated and went to report the matter to the police. The suspect has since disappeared.
