First Sun Insurance Brokers (FSIB) has introduced an innovative product, ‘The First Sun Executive Plus’ in partnership with Botswana Insurance Company Limited (BIC), targeting the higher end of the market.
The product is said to be for executives such as CEOs, COOs, CFOs, directors and managers.
Speaking at the launch, FSIB Executive Director Tiny Kgatlwane said they had a solid track record of creating value in insurance adding that they saw large opportunities in this sector.
“We have designed this comprehensive product which allows executives to manage all their personal insurances under one platform,” said Kgatlwane.
She further stated that First Sun’s main business is to manage risk and ensure that clients’ investments and properties were secure and sustainable. Kgatlwane said the company was an established industry entity in Botswana, and was on course to come up with more innovative products to suit the market.
“This product allows customers extensive value-added services, other VIP privileges discounted car tracker; credit shortfall extension; emergency hotel accommodation; car valet; massage therapy and others and a unique opportunity to insure a third vehicle for free,” she stated
She added that insurance benefits included preferential rates, personalised service with fast turn-around times and fast track claim settlements.
First Sun Insurance Brokers Managing Director Paul Chitate said the product allowed them to bring something exclusive, which had created the flexibility for them to react to this particular target segment’s needs regarding both the product itself and the user experience.
“We believe that with this new product, we have realised a core insurance solution specifically for executives which is currently not available in the local market,” said Chitate.
He explained that First Sun Insurance Brokers operates through three divisions, namely Short Term Insurance, Group Business and Risk Management. Chitate said the company strove to be continuously relevant to client’s needs at the same time ensuring that appropriate attention was given to all clients.
