Looking at South Africa’s Evolving Democracy

May the 29th will become another significant day in the history of South Africa in as far as democracy is concerned. This was their day for general election where they were picking parties at provincial and national level.

South Africa is said to be a country with the most liberal constitution in the world and I for one sometimes think it is just far too liberal to run a country effectively. One of the reasons why they are unable to deal with crime and the influx of migrants points to the freedoms enshrined in this very constitution.
