Student achieves outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards

Shubham Chandna, a student at Maru-a-Pula, has received a prestigious award from the University of Cambridge International Examinations to acknowledge his outstanding performance in the November 2011 Cambridge Examination series.

Chandna gained the highest mark in the world for Cambridge International A Level Accounting in the November 2011 Cambridge Examinations.

The Cambridge Top in the World awards recognise students who have achieved the highest standard mark in the world for a single subject.

Over the past three years, Maru-a-Pula students have averaged over 50 percent A*s and As in the Cambridge IGCSE exams and, in 2011, 48 percent of Maru-a-Pula’s A Level candidates achieved A*s and As in one or more subjects.

Maru-a-Pula, which is celebrating its 40th birthday this year, has an outstanding track record in helping students gain places at the world’s most selective universities.
