There is an ongoing national discourse on the Death Penalty. Before I delve into my probe, I strongly condemn acts of banditry and the callousness by which the killers visit upon the innocent and harmless. I also wish to pay homage to family and friends who lost loved ones through these barbaric acts committed by the cold-blooded monsters. Of the Ten Commandments, one reads as thus: “Thou shall not kill” and it is typified in Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder”.
