At least three people died in a tragic accident in which a bus traveling From Gaborone to Selibe Phikwe overturned near Dibete on Thursday.
Dibete Police Station Commander, Superintendent Moyonchena Nkhori, confirmed that scores of other passengers were badly injured when they were taken to Mahalapye Hospital and Nyangabwe in Francistown.
Nkhori said that they received a report of the accident at approximately 7 in the evening.
Altogether, 28 people were injured in the accident and taken to Mahalapye.
Superintendent Nhhori said investigations are still continuing.
There are also reports that the driver was trying to steer clear from a beast on the road, before he lost control because of a tyre burst.
