A thirty-two-year old man was shot dead on Thursday night during an exchange of gunfire with members of the security forces.
Two others escaped during the shooting incident.
The three people, suspected to be on a mission to rob Boatle Filling Station, near Ramotswa, resisted arrest and opened fire, triggering the exchange of gunfire. No officer was injured during the incident.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man is assisting the police in these investigations. Police said the body of the deceased is at the Bamalete Lutheran Hospital mortuary.
