Over a decade after the launch of his solo career, local jazz sensation, Shanti Lo, is set to bring the house down at SSKB auditorium this Saturday during the launch and live DVD recording of his latest offering, Lerato, a thirteen track album produced by the world renowned John Blackie Selolwane. The album was recorded and engineered by David Molosi, a.k.a. Skizo, owner and founder of Tracks Studio and was mastered at Rocket Studios in Johannesburg.
With two albums under his belt, Shanti Lo has become a force to reckon with in the local music arena. His past releases have earned him Botswana Music Union Awards nominations in two different categories.
Under the management of Streethorn Promotions, Shanti continues to be among the most sought after performers in Botswana with collaborative works ranging from house, afro pop and jazz and keeps on featuring in a number of esteemed corporate and social events for different organisations in Government and private sector.
