BCP councilor in Ramotswa dies

Botswana Congress Party Councilor for Kelemogile Ward in Ramotswa Constituency, Molemi Rakgomo has died.

The BCP says it understands how difficult this must be for the family, relatives and friends as well as his colleagues.
The deceased had  been a BCP Councilor for Kelemogile Ward since 2009 and was at the time of his death the Deputy Chairman of South East District Council. The BCP says  his untimely passing has robbed the party and the country of a productive and patriotic young man who contributed to the development of his country.

The party is aware of how much the family, friends and comrades of Rakgomo will miss him. “We encourage them to draw on their strength. We encourage the media to let the family and the party mourn their fallen hero by treating the matter with the sensitivity it deserves,┬╗ said BCP Publicity Secretary in a statement released on Monday.

Cause of death was not made public.

But there has been flurry of allegations that suicide was a possibility.
